Brethren,
Welcome to the old Sunnyside Lodge members. Now upon the successful merge of Sunnyside and Washington 46, per code, we will hold Elections in our Stated. We will also go to Refreshment, invite the ladies and guests in to have an open Installation prior to going back to Labor. These Elections are for the rest of this year; we will still have our Nov Elections for the ensuing year.
We had our Annual Picnic, with Cornerstone and Lents Lodges. Great food, fun and fellowship.
Our August Stated communication and dinner will be Wednesday August 9th. This meeting with our “summer times” theme will be a 50’s-60’s theme. Food will begin at 6:00pm; Stated at 7:00pm. This will be a very busy meeting (aren’t they all); this will be our 1st meeting since Sunnyside and Washington 46 have consolidated. We will again have a Special Guest: Steven Mitchell from Scotland.
Upcoming Activities:
Aug 12th – Our next Saturday Brunch will be August 12th beginning at 11am. Plans are being formed to have this start an hour earlier at 10am beginning in Sept. EA Degree practice immediately following Brunch.
Aug 16th – We will be having an EA Degree at 6:30pm for Lain Lidster
Sept 16th – Washington 46 is organizing a no-host fishing expedition.
This Charter will be the 8-hour excursion and plans are being formed to book hotel rooms, so we do not have to dive there and immediately fish. Please contact me for details.
Oct 28th – Washington 46 will be holding a Fish Fry. Plenty of trout for all. Tickets can be purchased by seats or tables.
