From the Secretary’s Desk – October 2020
The seasons are changing, we have rolled back our clocks to standard time, two full moons have occurred in October and the fall winds and leaves are really starting to show their presence. We are also starting to experience more fellowship as we realize an upcoming stated meeting, the first in nearly seven months.
Even though our attendance is limited because of the virus, we will meet for this special election night. Our meeting will start at 7:30 PM with temperatures taken, social distancing, masks worn and absent for many months a suit and tie will be the uniform for the night. Please email me if you plan on attending. We will have a couple of awards to present and I trust many of you will just be happy to finally get together.
Our major project for the year, redoing our roof with new HVAC units and sheet metal is finally coming to fruition. We have recently added a few more items to the project list but for the most part everything will be completed within the next few weeks. Special thanks to all that made this a reality.
This month and our stated meeting night is also extra special in that it falls on Veterans Day. To all our veterans we humbly thank them for their service and wish for all of us good health and happiness in the months ahead. Please reach out to those that need a helping hand, stay safe and have a very, very Happy Thanksgiving!!
