Brethren,
I’m getting into the swing of this new role and am hopefully getting better at this. There will be a dessert auction
by the Rainbow Girls after this month’s stated meal.
For our Valentine’s Day dinner, Chef Paul is going to wow us again with the menu of:
Classic Caesar salad
Fettuccini and Meatballs
Garlic bread. (Apparently, the pasta is his grandmother’s recipe! Sounds delicious)
One kind thing that I think would be nice is to recognize the server or servers starting from this
meeting. We know them well and they always provide friendly service and do a great job of
cleaning up afterwards. However, due to us being in lodge when they leave, we never get to
thank them monetarily. To this end, I will have a tip jar at the service counter if you want to tip your servers. This is
entirely voluntarily and there is absolutely no expectation or pressure to contribute. However, if
you want to thank the servers, this is a great way to do it.
