The Secretary’s Desk – December 2020
What a year it has been!! There has been nothing in our lifetime that resembles the hardships that have been created since this Pandemic began.
We as masons, have that never give up attitude and so it is with Oregon Masonry. The Grand Master, MWB Mike McGuyer and his officers have worked tirelessly to inform the brethren of the guidelines that the state and local governments have implemented.
So, you ask, what more can we do? We can practice those fundamental tenants of our order, BROTHERLY LOVE, RELEIF AND TRUTH along with FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY.
We will meet in 2021 and continue the good works that Washington Lodge #46 has long sought to establish. We have new members to meet and degrees to confer. I personally want to congratulate our new officers that have been elected and appointed for the new masonic year. There are many challenges facing us, but I know with all working together it will be a remarkably successful year.
I want to wish all our members an incredibly happy and healthy Holiday Season. Please take care and God Bless!
Fraternally,
Don Stapleton, Secretary
