The Front Page – November 2020

Suddenly I find that it is November and I see the end of 2020 quickly approaching. I usually take this time of year to reflect on what the last 12 months has brought us and what we can be thankful for. I, for one, am grateful that in such a difficult and tumultuous period, the Brethren of our Lodge and our families have generally been able to keep healthy.

Additionally, I am grateful that while we have not been able to meet in person, we have been able to meet with each other every month with our online meetings. I feel that this has helped keep the camaraderie of our fraternity strong. If you have not been able to attend one of these meetings, I would strongly recommend it.

As beneficial as these meetings have been, my heart was lifted when I heard that we will have our regular stated communication this month. I realize that this meeting is likely a one-off occurrence and is only meeting to carry out some very specific business, but I take it as a sign that normality will be returning sooner rather than later.

Sometimes it is hard to discern during these hard times, but the light of the Great Architect of the Universe is always present. Always be looking for it in the people you meet and places you go. I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
