From the West – October 2023

Brethren,
The more time I serve in our fraternity, the more I see how many moving parts there are. The phrase, “It takes a village” really comes to mind. I appreciate all of you who make up this lodge. Remembering that a lodge is not the building in which we meet but the men we are when we join and the brothers we have become.

I would like to see this continue with all members of the lodge, not just officers, taking an active role in the running of the lodge. I feel that we achieve much more together than our individual parts alone.

Our Junior Warden, Bro Enriquez, will return from his travels soon so in his stead, I have organized our meal for October’s Stated Communication. We will have our talented chef, Paul Stanislaw, return with a catered meal consisting of:
● Farmer’s salad
● BBQ Beef Brisket with mac and cheese, coleslaw and cornbread
● Desert of peach cobbler and whipped cream
● Coffee will be served afterwards
