From the South – November 2022

We’ve had a busy and fun October. At our Stated, we had the pleasure of a fantastic presentation by WB David Tate. A great October Stated. We also had our Junior Grand Warden, RWB Marc L. Strong attend; he presented some Basic Proficiency Awards to our WM James Van Anda, SD Matthew Cox and our Secretary RMB Don Stapleton (renewal). Congratulations for your outstanding work.

During this month we’ve conferred an EA Degree on Ronald Beed and held our first Torchlight class. If you haven’t already, please introduce yourselves to our newest lodge member. If you missed the first Torchlight class, there is a second chance available. Our next class is on Nov 16th at 6:00pm. Reserve your spot with WB Jim Akers at [email protected]. This class is highly recommended for all Master Masons.

The November Stated will be busy as well, not only is it our elections, but we will have an official visit by our District Deputy, RWB Jim Munson. This dinner is open to Masons and their families; RSVPs are required for an accurate count for the chef. Dinner RSVP to me at [email protected] or (503) 618-1497.

November Stated catered dinner will consist of:

  • Caesar Salad: Romaine, Croutons, Parmesan, Caesar Dressing
  • Beef &Cheese Raviolis with Tomato Sauce, Parmesan, & Basil Pesto Garlic Bread
  • Tiramisu
