From the West – July 2022
Greetings from the West!
The Lodge has been busy with housekeeping chores. Our Worshipful Master and a cadre of officers have been making some minor adjustments to the Code to bring them into line with today’s Lodge.
Worshipful Brother Burkholder has been promoting a more expansive Charity Program which will be in line with our improved financial situation, this includes our Scholarship Program at Franklin High
School. Communications with the school have been difficult during the pandemic. However, this past Spring we restored our links with FHS and presented financial help to an additional student for the next four years.
If you haven’t been by the Lodge and looked at the mural on the South side of the building, it really announces our building as a Masonic facility.
The building board has been busy and the maintenance of the building has been superb.
Most Worshipful Brother Don Stapleton has just announced that this year’s Cornerstone, Sunnyside, Lents and Washington Lodge Masonic Picnic will be held at Oaks Park on Sunday, July 31st. Please put the date on your calendar.
