From the East – October 2020

Brethren,

Our roof project is well under way. Today the are installing the metal sheeting which will form the outer covering of the system. We have gone through last week’s rain without any significant leaks. Next week the new HVAC units will be installed. Our lodge building will be ready for us when we are ready to return to “Work.” The picture below is from last week when the roof was cleared down to the boards.

September has been another quiet month. The fires for the past month have joined the Coronavirus to dominate our lives both on a personal basis and in our communities. Contact any of the officers of the lodge if you have information about brothers or their families that are in need of assistance.

We all look forward to our next meeting and the opportunity to share our experiences in these difficult times. Even if we meet in person in October, I will hold an online meeting opportunity for those that are not feeling safe enough to join in person.
