City of Portland Plants Trees

The City of Portland recently inquired to the lodge about having some trees planted along S.E. 52nd Avenue. We indicated that would be just fine, but It was determined from another city bureau that planting of trees would interfere with close by utilities.

Apparently, that was not the case as concrete was cut out, holes dug and low and behold, I turned around and three trees were planted. Leaves have already sprouted, and time will tell how they will look. We hope that many years will pass before they will cause any issues related to the sidewalk.
