Chaplain’s Message – December 2019
Holiday Greetings to you and those you love! This is always a time of great personal excitement and the anticipation of fun, happiness and joy we always have during this season of the year. We have many fond memories from many wonderful gatherings in this past year, and now we look forward to sharing the delights of the coming holidays. I’m happy to have this opportunity to communicate with you and wish you and yours many good times in the days and weeks ahead. It was an honor to serve as your Chaplain this year.
It is always fitting and proper that we pause to reflect on our personal good fortune and to thank the Great Architect of the Universe for our many blessings. We cherish our freedoms in this blessed land of opportunity. We are grateful for the privilege of free assembly and the right to practice our craft, and the many blessings of family life and love.
May all of you according to your faith and traditions enjoy the holidays of your faith. Judy and I want to extend our warmest wishes to you and all of those you cherish for all the joys of the season. We also send our most heartfelt good wishes for the New Year 2020… may everything that you wish for you and your family be fulfilled. May we all share a year of good health, a year of growth and personal achievement and may 2020 be a year of peace on earth and good will toward all mankind.
May God continue to lift up his countenance upon you and be gracious to you and your family. May God also bless the members of our Armed Forces serving our nation, our Brotherhood and all of those we serve, and the United States of America!
You will start 2020 with a new line of officers, who will guide the lodge through these somewhat turbulent times, and while upholding some of the traditions of the past, will look forward to the future, and align the lodge to remain relevant.
May all of you have a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
