From the South – October 2019

Greetings from the South

Our September meeting was well attended. Our District Deputy, Jim Akers, was also in attendance. During the meeting, our brother secretary M.W.B Don Stapleton mentioned that the City of Portland offered to plant some trees on the north side of our building at no cost to us! Furthermore; the city will also care for the trees for a period of time! ! ! Afterward, we had some good fellowship with pie and ice cream! Everyone who attended had a great time.

The theme for our dinner for October is…. Oktoberfest! The meal will consist of Bavarian; Bratwurst, Sauerkraut with Onions; German Potato Salad, German Chocolate Cake…so come join in on some good food and fellowship! ! !
