Wages of a Mason

Brothers,

Wages of a Mason , Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), Grand Master of Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania:

Masonic labor is purely a labor of love. He who seeks to draw Masonic wages in gold and silver will be disappointed. The wages of a Mason are earned and paid in their dealings with one another; sympathy that begets sympathy, kindness begets kindness, helpfulness begets helpfulness, and these are the wages of a Mason.

We have just initiated two men as Masons. They are just beginning their experience as Masons. Make yourself known to them and get to know them.

Find another Brother whose face you know but name do not and share with him your experience as a Mason. Listen to Brother Franklin. Come and participate on February 13th. Bring your Lady for a Valentine’s celebration, or give a Brother a ride and earn some wages.

None will go away dissatisfied!
