Car Safety

From the West – July 2017

Brethren: I will, at least for the short term, make my efforts toward Safety. First and foremost I would encourage you to always drive with you lights on, regardless of the time of day. If you take a look at the oncoming cars you will readily see that those with their lights on are far more noticeable than those that don’t have their lights on. You’re safer and so are they.

Number Two: For some unknown reason I had this premonition to check the vent on my dryer, which hadn’t been looked at since the advent of the wheel, and I’m certainly glad that I did that. The vent in some areas was nearly plugged and this could definitely contribute to a fire, not to mention destroying the efficiency of the dryer. So if you haven’t looked at your dryer vent in some time now would be a good time.

Be safe this summer! We need you at Lodge.
