From the South – July 2017

Greetings From the South,

This will be a very short article, 1, I am very busy being that the sun has finally come out. The Annual Picnic will be held on July 30, 2017 If you wake up early that morning and are full of energy, come down and help set up, we will need a few people at 8:30am at Oaks Park. If you decide to sleep in, do not worry, at-least come to Oaks Park and enjoy some Fellowship and get to know the Officers and family’s. Just remember when you associate yourself with POSITIVE ENERGY’S, you will at-least leave happy or bursting with a POSITIVE ENARGY. Can not wait to see you there!

Spinach & Strawberry Salad BBQ Pulled Pork
Fresh Fruit
Bacon Green Beans
Apple Pie

My High School assignment was to ask a Veteran about World War 2, since my father had served in the Philippines during the war, I chose him, after a few basic questions, I very gingerly asked, “did you ever kill anyone?”

Dad was quiet. Then, in a soft voice, he said, “probably, I was the cook.”
