Greetings from Bethel 67 Job’s Daughters,
It has been so great to get to know the gentlemen and their ladies of Washington Lodge at the stated meetings. It has been our pleasure to be the servers for your dinners. Thank you for the kindness and support shown toward us!
This year we have grown, initiating three daughters! Building membership is our biggest focus. We are always looking for new girls to join the fun so please be spreading the word and share names of young ladies with us.
It is time again for our annual Grand Session. We are honored to have amongst our ranks, the Grand Bethel Honored Queen and the Grand Bethel Honored Queen-elect, as well as the Grand Guide and Grand Marshal. We will be in the spotlight all session. We are gearing up to round out our last fundraisers for the year.
Please bring your spirit of charity and sweet tooths to your next two meetings. In May we will raffle off an Italian themed basket and in June the girls will bring baked goods to auction off.
We also are selling ads to our Session yearbook. If you have a business or know someone who does and would like to help us or if you wish to put a special note in the booklet please contact us- $25 for business size up to full page for $100.
We would like to invite you to our Official Visit this Sunday, May 7, at 2pm. We will have a spaghetti lunch for only $5 from 12:30-1:30. Feel free to come and join us for one or both activates.
We have a Burgerville fundraiser on May 23 @ 25/Powell 5-8pm. We will see you at yours on the 9th
and hope to see you at ours!!
Have you noticed the heart piggy bank near our display in the entry? Drop your coins there in support of women’s heart health.
You are invited to celebrate our accomplishments!!–Grand Session is at the Agate Beach Best Western hotel in Newport, June 23-25. Formal opening is Friday night 23rd 7:30p where two of our daughters, Kendra Young and Leah Stiendorf, will be awarded college scholarships. The joint GGC and Grand Bethel Installations are 2pm Sunday 25th where Kendra Young will crown Delanie Crabtree as Grand Bethel Honored Queen.
We are fortunate to have such wonderful support from Washington Lodge. The use of the facility and your financial assistance is much needed. We like seeing you and would love to have more of you attend our meetings. The next stated meeting we have is May 23, 7:00 pm.
