Master’s Message

Craftsmen,

Pax et bonum!

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for electing me to be in the East and for the trust you have placed in me. Thank you for your support and confidence. It is a profound honor to serve you as the new Worshipful Master.

This year, I want us to work together as we did before to achieve our goals. With each person’s cooperation and hard work, I am certain that we can also achieve our goals. We will continue building our lodge into a place of brotherly love, truth, and service. We may have challenges ahead, but we also have opportunities to serve our community, our family, and our fraternity.

Let us move forward together with renewed dedication and enthusiasm, upholding the legacy of those who came before us and setting an example for those who will follow.

Fraternally,

Aaron E.
Worshipful Master

From The West

Brethren,

As we close the chapter on another remarkable year within our lodge, I step into the role of Senior Warden with gratitude and anticipation. This position is both an honor and a responsibility, bridging the past and future of our lodge while supporting leadership and fostering our shared vision for growth.

The Senior Warden’s duty is to assist the Worshipful Master and prepare for future leadership. This privilege demands dedication and commitment to the principles that unite us as Masons. My goal is to ensure that the light of Freemasonry continues to shine, guiding our brothers in fellowship and harmony.

This role also symbolizes the strength of our lodge. I stand ready to organize and execute our labors, ensuring each meeting and gathering is purposeful and dignified. It is an opportunity to deepen our connection as brethren and uphold the values that define our fraternity.

Looking ahead, I am inspired by the vision of our incoming Worshipful Master. He has already started setting the tone for an exciting and productive year. Together, we aim to foster growth in the bonds of brotherhood and our community impact.

To my brothers, I encourage you to approach this year with renewed purpose and unity. Let us inspire one another to live our principles daily. Your support and participation give our lodge its strength and vitality.

As I stand in the West, I am reminded that Freemasonry is a shared journey illuminated by the light we bring to one another. I am grateful for your trust and look forward to serving our lodge with diligence, humility, and respect.

Here’s to a year of fellowship, growth, and the pursuit of what is noble and good. Together, under our Worshipful Master’s guidance, we will make it a year to remember.

Jesse McCann
Senior Warden

From The South

Brethren,

Happy New Year! The holidays we celebrate this time of year imply renewal and rebirth. It is the time that many people make changes to their lives by changing habits, living conditions, or people they associate with.

As the new Junior Warden, I implore you to evaluate your relationship with Masonry. How long has it been since you sat in Lodge or shared a meal with your brothers? If you feel the need to be a part once more or don’t make it to as many meetings as you would like, I invite you to come back. We will make it easy for you. You might see some new faces but our standards are still high and the Brothers you meet will give you the respect you deserve and need.

So, take a look at the calendar and find a time to come back to the Lodge and the Brotherhood. Give me a call or call the secretary and we will help to ease you back to a meeting or meal.

If you need a ride we can arrange that too. Come back to the Lodge and renew yourself in Masonry.

Our upcoming dinner promises to be a delightful experience. We’ll begin with a crisp Greens Salad, a vibrant combination of seasonal greens, cherry tomatoes, pickled red onions, cucumbers, cheddar cheese, and sunflower seeds, all dressed in a refreshing vinaigrette.

The main course will be a hearty Shepherd’s Pie brimming with seasoned ground beef, carrots, mushrooms, onions, and sweet corn, topped with a golden layer of creamy mashed potatoes. Perfectly roasted Broccoli will complement this, offering a touch of wholesome simplicity.

To conclude, we’ll indulge in the rich and satisfying sweetness of Sticky Toffee Pudding, a dessert sure to leave everyone with warm, contented smiles.

Jim Munson
Junior Warden

From The Secretary’s Desk

One might call it fantastic, memorable, outstanding, or many other descriptive words that describe the year Washington Lodge #46 has had. We have remained at the forefront of the kind of masonic lodge this jurisdiction strives for. I give a big thank you to all the current and past elected and appointed officers for making this happen. We have raised three master masons this year, continued to work towards the Grand Masters Achievement award, and have continued with programs that were first started with Sunnyside Lodge. For those of us who have been members of Washington Lodge for these many years, it is indeed a pleasure to witness where we have been and now look to the future with great anticipation of things to come.

We have a super team of officers that will lead us this year.  Aaron, Jesse, and Jim have great ideas, and without our very talented Treasurer, Warren, the future financial state would be in question. So, what all of us are asking is that you, those who have been missing the fellowship and the opportunity to encourage our newly raised master masons in their new duties, are helping us make this lodge even better.  Volunteer for a committee, help us out in our degrees, just be there for support.

This year the building will going through some changes and those improvements will be exciting to see. We have other tenants in this building, and we want them to enjoy this facility just like we do. Don’t forget to include them in your plans and activities. To all of you, my very best wishes for a super 2025.

Fraternally,

Don Stapleton, PGM, Secretary
