Let The Fellowship Begin
It’s been months since we were able to shake the hands of our brothers. To give a hug or reach out to the brother or sister of the various groups that many of us belong to. We have approached this moment in history with caution as we start to venture out and start, once again, to revisit that closeness that we have had with our members and friends. The Grand Master, MWB Greg Jenkins has lifted all EDICTS which were put in place by the Grand Lodge and the state of Oregon to keep us safe. The majority of us have been vaccinated which has put this nasty pandemic almost a thing of the past. Now our minds are looking for the fellowship that we have long sought.
Washington Lodge is now moving forward with degrees planned, petitions given out; as our future, and those of the groups that meet at Washington Masonic Center only destined to grow better and better. We welcome Willamette Lodge #2, the seconded oldest lodge in the state, as they begin meeting the first Wednesday of the month.
Our joint picnic with Sunnyside & Cornerstone Lodges will be July 25th at Oaks Park and we welcome your participation.
So, once again, we will have our fellowship with our brothers and will look forward to many happy and fun times in the months ahead.
Please try and join us at our stated July 14th. Don’t forget that we start at 7PM and, be comfortable, wear your barong or dress business casually.
Have a great Summer!!
Fraternally,
Don Stapleton, Secretary
