From the East – June 2021

Hello Brethren,

We had a great stated meeting in May and we accomplished a lot. We were visited by WB Gibb Thornstad of Willamette Lodge#2. The lodge voted to accept their Lodge into our building as tenants. Thank you – Gibb for joining us on this evening for our stated meeting. I also thank RWB Jim Akers and WB Jim Lamb for filling in as our Chaplain and Senior Deacon, respectively for the evening.

We also voted on two scholarships. GREAT JOB WB Dave Munson !!! Our Junior Deacon, Matthew Cox, gave a wonderful talk on a project (Books for Bikes) at a nearby school. I wish we had more Brothers attend this meeting, but with the Pandemic still upon us, we still need to follow the Grand Lodge protocols.

So may all Brothers stay healthy and safe – this will eventually end and we will all be back in Lodge.
