Veterans Day

From the Secretary’s Desk – November 2019

It’s a month of decisions, a month of great gratitude and a month for giving thanks and celebrating the season with family and friends. We recently conferred the Entered Apprentice Degree on Brother John Wagner and held a Fellowcraft Degree, as a courtesy for Evergreen Lodge #137. We all came together for these brothers and what we encountered was true masonic fellowship. Thank you all for your caring and sharing your love of this fraternity.

To our Veterans we thank you for your service and is a constant reminder that the freedoms that we experience today are because of your commitment and the sacrifices made to keep this country strong.

Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks to our creator for the many blessings that we have and providing much needed help to those in need. Check on that neighbor or help with that special group bringing joy to those that have come by hard times. Brotherly Love can go a long way in bringing a smile to the face of someone looking for happiness.

Finally my brothers, this is a time for you to vote for the officers that will lead our lodge for the new Masonic year. Decisions must be made and what you do will determine how this lodge will function in the coming years. The responsibility is great, and I know that all the men from Washington Lodge will strive to lead in a just and upright manner. Your lodge is in good hands!! I hope to see you at our stated in November.

Fraternally,
Don Stapleton, Secretary
