From the West – May 2023

Greetings from the West!

This month I want to bring your attention to a brother that has been making a big contribution to the betterment of the fraternity over many years. Robert, Bob, Richardson a Past Master, with 57 years as a Mason, is an active member in five Oregon Lodges. One of the contributions that he brings to Freemasonry is his skill in the rituals as a holder of an Advanced Proficiency Card.

Worshipful Brother Richardson delivers the details of the three degrees with a mastery seldom seen. This gives the candidate/brother an exceptional experience in the conferred degree. He emulates the ritual skill that many of us would like to gain in at least part of the lessons.

Join me in expressing our thanks for the superb performance Brother Richardson has contributed to the Craft the next time you see him in Lodge.

Second, the annual Masonic Charitable Golf Tourney is coming up soon July21st. I’m organizing a tryout for the Washington 46 Team and practice round at Stone Creek, the site of the Tourney. There is some flexibility regarding the date for the practice round. Send me a text if you’re interested, (978-697-8840).

Senior Warden
