From the East – March 2022

Greetings from the East:

Our February stated meeting was a busy one. We started off with another excellent dinner by Chef Paul and crew. After opening Lodge, we went to Refreshment and invited our ladies and guests into the lodge room for a special presentation. The State Master Counselor of Oregon DeMolay, Tyler Plath, gave the DeMolay Flower Talk and presented the ladies with Chocolate roses.

After the ladies and guests left, we went back to Labor and got some important business done. We approved the 2022 Budget and activated the Audit committee. We also were presented with a review of the Capital improvements for 2021 and were given an overview of the 2022 Building Board budget.

We also had a report on the Palestine Trust that is mandated in the By-Laws. And with that, I can say that the finances of Washington Lodge #46 are in excellent condition. I would like to thank WB Larry Harmon, Lodge treasurer, and WB Warren Burkholder, Building Board Treasurer, for their hard work and dedication to the Lodge.

That will bring you to the “Grand View” sign in page. If you already have a profile, please log in and make sure your contact information is correct. Especially make sure we have a correct address and Telephone number. Please add your e-mail address if you have one. Now, if you don’t have a profile already, please follow the steps to make one. It is very easy and helps us out tremendously.

On March 5th we will be having a School of Instruction at the lodge. If you haven’t been to lodge in a while and would like to refresh your memory of the way we do things in the lodge room, here is your chance. We start at 11:00 am with coffee and doughnuts beforehand.

Our March Stated is March 9th. We still need sideliners!! If you need a ride, call myself @ 971-304-9365 a few days before and I will make every effort to get you a ride to lodge. And our Officers meeting is on March 23rd @ 6:30 pm. Any member is invited to attend and voice any idea or concern you have. Please stay safe and healthy!
