From the East – November 2021
Greetings from the East,
Fall is upon us, the leaves are turning bright yellows and red and what we have sorely missed is the rain, and lately it’s a welcome sight. We are meeting in person, moving forward with plans to have degrees, dinners, and entertainment at our upcoming meetings. We are continuing to upgrade our building with new blinds in the hallway, just painted the kitchen, redid the DeMolay office and continuing to get the outside in shape for the winter.
Brethren, November 11th is Veterans Day. We can’t forget to recognize and give thanks for the sacrifices these men and women have made to keep this country strong. We have several veterans attending lodge so please thank them for their service, past and present.
Wages were paid by our SW Jim Van Anda to members Matthew Cox, John Quiroz and Dennis Harris this past month. Thank them for all the good works they do for the lodge.
I will close to say this month is also our annual election of officers. Please come and support those officers that will be leading us into the new year. It has been a tough go for many of us, but the future looks bright, and we want you to part of that. Be safe and my very best wishes to all of you for a very Happy Thanksgiving.
