From the Secretary’s Desk – March 2021

It’s the luck of the Irish that propels many of the events that have, and are occurring at Washington Masonic Center this March. Our roof project over the dinning room and kitchen, along with new HVAC units is now completed. Just in the nick of time I might say. With the heavy rains and ice, no leaks.

A thorough cleaning of the building has been completed along with the installation of our new fence on the south end of our lot. We presently are upgrading our security system and will also plan on some electrical upgrades.

We look forward to having more groups using the building. Some recent restrictions have been eased so we anticipate increased usage in the coming months. All of our groups have some challenges ahead. It’s like, starting all over again, but we all know that our groups will survive and will get back to spreading the love and affection that we are famous for.

Daylight saving time is right around corner so a little extra daylight will be a good thing. Please keep those brothers and sisters that are in need one of your priorities and hope that soon we will be breaking bread together again.
