Obituaries – January 2021

Brethren,

We’ve had two members who have passed to the celestial lodge in November and December:

Jerrold L. Larsen

Jerrold was born in 1933 in Portland, Oregon and was 87 at the time of his death. He received his EA Degree on March 14th, 1956; passed to the degree of FC on April 18th, 1956, and raised to the Sublime Degree of MM on May 23rd, 1956 in Washington Lodge no. 46.

He received his 50-year award in 2007 and was presented his 60-year jewel by WB Larry Harmon, WB John Quiroz and MWB Don Stapleton at his home in 2017.. Jerrold was a dentist by profession and volunteered with many groups including NW Medical Teams.

Allen A. Johnson

Allen was born in 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was 93 years young at the time of his death. He received his EA Degree on October 19th, 1956; passed to the degree of FC on October 31st, 1956, and raised to the Sublime Degree of MM on December 12th, 1956.

Al belonged to four local lodges: Lents, Sunnyside, Waverly and Washington 46. He received his 50-Year award in 2006 and his 60-year award in 2016. Allen was lodge treasurer for many years. He supported and participated in many other Masonic groups. Al passed away on December 12th, 2020.
