From the West – August 2020

Greetings from the West…

The summer is flying by and, we had hoped, that we would be meeting at the lodge this summer, but the virus has kept us apart. We have met virtually for officer and our stated meetings and discussed items that we will no doubt discuss further when we can get together. August will be a busy month with construction at the lodge. It will be exciting to see new HVAC units and a new slanted roof that will, once and for all, provide protection from leaks.

We have started to catalog and rearrange the books and publications we have in the library. This will be formable task and for those brothers that might want to help please let Dave Munson or Larry Harmon know your wishes.

Brethren, these perilous times have brought us many challenges, but they have also brought us a better understanding of the needs of others. If you hear of a brother in need, please try to assist if you can. Brotherly Love does prevail, looking forward in seeing all of you soon!

Washington Lodge Library – A Wealth of Knowledge

WB’s Larry Harmon and Dave Munson are starting to catalog all the publications in our library. This project will involve many of our members and will take months to complete. We have duplicates of some of our books, so there may be an opportunity for members to add to their own masonic libraries. If you are interested in helping with this worthwhile project, stay tuned for meeting dates and times.
