Brethren,

Every month we stand with right hand on heart and state that EQUALITY is a principle worthy of the devotion of every mason. What do we mean? The dictionary says that equality is the state of being equal, especially in status. rights and opportunities. meaning ‘equal’), or equalitarianism, is a school of thought within political philosophy that prioritizes equality for all people. Egalitarian doctrines are generally characterized by the idea that Egalitarianism (from French égal, all human persons are equal in fundamental worth or moral status. Is Equality the same as Equity?

What is the difference between equality and equity? I offer the drawings below for your thoughts: How should we act differently to better support our pledge?
