The Treasurer’s Vault – June 2018

As we celebrated Memorial Day a few days ago, let us not forget our brothers who have fallen in defense of our country. These brave and noble brothers suffered the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that we as Freemasons can continue to practice our craft in a country dedicated to freedom and equality.

We know that in one of our consolidated lodges, Maritime Lodge, there were three brothers who as Captains of their ship died as a result of enemy torpedoes. We also know that many of our brothers died and we do not have a record of their heroic endeavors.

Stand with me and salute our fallen brothers and remember that they gave their lives for us and for the country they loved.
