From the South – June 2018

I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather, and longer days. Hopefully the change in weather leads to more time spent outside with family and friends. Speaking of spending time outside in the warm weather, please consider attending our (Washington #46’s) annual joint family picnic at Oaks Park this summer. This is a picnic that is put on by our lodge, Cornerstone Lodge, and Sunnyside Lodge, and will take place on Sunday, July 29th, from 11am to 3pm. This is most definitely a family event, so bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. So far, the picnic is in the early planning stages, but I will relay more information as I get it.

We will be doing something a bit different at Lodge this summer starting in June. The Stated Meeting will be starting at 7pm instead of 7:30. We will be doing some finger foods at 6:30, before opening Lodge. For those who would like some further fellowship after the meeting, we will be hosting a light-hearted pizza and beer session (I assume in the dining room). We are hoping that if we start our Stated Meeting a half hour earlier, we will have time for said fellowship afterward, without making it too late of a night. Hope to see you all there!
