Master’s Message – January 2017

Brethren,

A new year brings much excitement and thoughts of new beginnings. Before we let 2016 pass, I would like to thank WB Jim Hosmer and the other officers for their leadership and dedication to the Masonic Fraternity. Our lodges can’t survive without strong leadership and the support of all its members.

Our next Stated communication and dinner will be Wednesday January 11th. We have a lot to get accomplished – Installing our Tyler, WB Russ Michaels, assignments of Committees, presentation of our Budget, balloting for degrees. We need to have all our members participate in making our lodge healthy, strong and continue to grow.

Our upcoming February Stated Communication and dinner will be special. This will be our Valentines/Sweethearts Dinner with a special singer for entertainment. Please bring your sweethearts to enjoy this fabulous evening.

We will be having a special Hockey Night event on February 4th at the Moda Center. It will be our WinterHawks against Seattle. Gates open at 6:00pm with the game starting at 7:00pm. Adult tickets are $16.50, but a special price for anyone 55+ will get in at kids price $12.50. This is open to all. To order your tickets, you can call Duncan at the Moda center 971 230-2968 or by email duncankcareofwinterhawks.com. This will be a big night as it is also Mascot night and kids will receive a free hat. Most people will take the Max as there is a stop right across the street from the Moda Center.

As for 2017, we will focus on communication with all our members, widows and shut-ins along with some new clubs and events planned. Stay tuned for further details.
