Italian chicken alfredo pappardelle pasta

From the South – January 2018

Brethren,

First off, thank you all for electing me as your Junior Warden for the 2018 Masonic year. It is quite an honor, and I realize that I have some big shoes to fill. In that regard, I would like to thank our new Senior Warden, Dennis Harris, for doing a great job as Junior Warden last year. I hope to be able to perform my duties as effectively as he did. I realize that I have a strong support network in our current officers, as well as the general membership of the Lodge, and I look forward to working closely with all of you.

I would like for each of you to start thinking about what you would like to get out of the Lodge experience, and communicate those thoughts to the Lodge officers. Please deeply consider attending Lodge meetings and events. Recent Lodge events, such as the annual Christmas Party, have been very well attended. Strong attendance numbers are important, as they lead to more fun at the events, strengthening the core of the Lodge (harmony and brotherly love), as well as a sense of success and appreciation. I hope that our meetings and events continue to grow in participation, so we can get Washington #46 truly thriving again.

The menu for January’s Stated Meeting is as follows:

  • Green Salad
  • Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (veggies instead of chicken if you so choose)
  • Garlic Bread
  • Roasted Veggies
  • Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream

Thank you again to all of the brethren, and I look forward to seeing each of you at our January Stated Meeting!
