MWB Don Stapleton elected to Board of GWMNM

At the most recent Conference of Grand Masters in North America held in Omaha, Nebraska, MWB Don Stapleton, Immediate Past Grand Master and Washington Lodge #46 secretary, was elected to the Board of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, located in Alexandria, VA.

What a great honor it is for our member representing the Oregon Jurisdiction to be on the Board of Directors of such a prestigious and magnificent memorial. Don’s term of office will be three years and will work to promote the campaigns that are presently being initiated. Currently includes, The Landmark Century Campaign, restoring the outside of the memorial and ongoing projects to restore and enhance the interior and memorial grounds. If you have not had a chance to visit the Memorial, it is something that you must put on your bucket list. The memorial was designated a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service, in August of 2015.
